• Profound knowledge of food ingredients used in Pan Asian and Thai cooking. Deep knowledge of equipments used in kitchen with every facet of Pan Asian food cooking procedures and exclusive techniques in full service Pan Asian kitchen.
• Vast knowledge of crafting menu and recipes designs filled with Asian flavors with ability to cook exclusive food items for guests having specific food intolerances, allergies and healthy cuisine
• Solid understanding of how to adjust taste and ingredients to accommodate a variety of tongues, diets, cultures, etc.
• Familiarity with quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation with adhering detailed standards and complying with HACCP
• Organized, utilizing the best ways to save costs and manage time, whether preparing simple short orders or complicated dishes
• Profound knowledge of trends in food industry with centralized attention towards quality, hygiene, price control, portion control and food display
• Exceptional communication skills for giving instructions and training staff in the best ways to cook and present foods.
• Good understanding of people management and gastronomy
• Familiarity with basics of computers MS Excels, Power Point, Words, Internet, Micros and related software.
• Ability to perform during busy periods and work stressed circumstances.
• Ability to delegate tasks and manage multiple activities in parallel even at invariable interruptions.
• Proficient in cost management, yield management, menu engineering and raw material procurement.
• Ability to work in teams & maintain amicable professional relations with fellow teammates.
